FTP Reports
Good evening,I haven't received any logs yet but I really love your service. I got here by reading your blog. I've been looking for a way to track bandwidth for S3 by filename (or user) forever. THANKS!Now, I have a few questions. Your service is great (and I'm willing to pay for it) but there is 1 more step i need before it actually becomes useful.1. I need to first of all get my logs transfered to me via FTP.2. Secondly, I need to download the simplified logs you deliver and place them in a MySQL database with PHP.Possible? Thanks, Chad
Good to hear that it does most of what you need already! FTP delivery is next on our list, so you should be able to set up automated delivery of your processed logfiles in a few days. I'll let you know when it's ready to go.The processed logs are in Common Logfile Format, which is space-delimited and should bulk import straight into MySQL. Hopefully you won't have any problems getting that working for you.Jason
